AURANGABAD TRAVEL DIARY
When we wake at morning
on that day where we plan to go Aurangabad from my place heavy rain since last night.
Yes, In Maharashtra it’s a monsoon from June to September usually it rains
daily during these months but its good to travel in this period and exploring
the green nature of Maharashtra.
HOW TO REACH AURANGABAD
From Mumbai its 370 kms
approx. and by car it takes 8 hrs. of travel and roads are not that much
comfort to drive by train it takes 6 and half hrs. to reach so you prefer your
best.
1Bibi Ka Maqbara (Tomb of the Lady)
It is such a lovely place
to visit 8Am to 8Pm Bibi ka maqbara is located at begumpura in Aurangabad city.
In 1660 last Mughal emperor Aurangzeb commissioned in memory of his first wife
Dilras Banu Begum. Just like Taj mahal this is also a symbol of love a mini
version of Tajmahal.Honeymoon couples you can choose this place too it will be affordable.
We have to take entry fee of INR15 and INR300 for foreigners/person and no charges
for camera. When we visit this place, it was evening so we enjoyed sunset
session nearby this place there are lots of things bags, sarees, accessories for
shopping but quality wise you can’t expect that much. I bought one cotton type
handbags its good and I used for years. Around this place lots of streets food available
but you can’t find big restaurants.
