HEALTHY KOTHU PAROTA




When you think of PAROTA our mind swings about two things whether it is PAROTA or PARATHA. PAROTA is layered flat bread made of maida which is more famous in Tamilnadu,Kerala where PARATHA is also a layered flat bread but it's made of wheat flour or atta which is more available in north Indian thalis.
PAROTA or PARATHA is commonly served with vegetable kurma, non veg kurma or any other sabji. Where PARATHA is well go with yogurt and pickle. Then coming to health impacts many doctors have subscribed as maida is not good for health but paratha is good for health and it's too tasty but it takes some time to prepare but for this KOTHU PAROTA we are going to use left over chapattis made of whole wheat flour its healthy and easy to prepare this dish. Okay then let's check out the receipe.

INGREDIENTS

Leftover chapattis - 4
Onion - 2( finely chopped)
Capsicum - 2 ( finely chopped)
Garlic - 8 cloves ( finely chopped)
Ginger - small pinch( finely chopped)
Tomato - 1 ( finely chopped)
Tomato sauce or ketchup - 2 TSP
Oil - 2 TSP
Turmeric powder - 1/4 TSP
Chilli powder - 1/2 TSP
Garam masala powder -1/4 TSP
Pepper powder- 1/4 TSP
Salt
Egg - 2

LET'S GET STARTED..
 
Cut the onion, Tomato, garlic , ginger ,capsicum and keep it aside.


Cut the chapattis into small pieces.


Take a kadai pour some oil add ginger,garlic and onion saute for some time.


Add capsicum , Tomato and salt for fast saute.


And then add turmeric,chilli,garam masala powder saute for some time till the raw smell goes.


After that add tomato sauce for flavour.


Then add chapattis saute for sometime


Then add egg , salt and pepper powder mix it well to bind with chapattis.



Garnish with coriander leaves.
Now the healthy parota is ready to serve.
